Suitable for a garden studio
A small, modern pod by the pool offers a cosy retreat with glass walls for natural light and water views. Surrounded by greenery, it’s a peaceful spot for lounging or reading, blending comfort and elegance in a compact space.
Standard Unit price. All prices quoted are exclusive of GST and exclude external consultants, permit fees, delivery to site and site works. Comfypod reserve the right to make modifications to the plans, specifications, and dimensions if so required.
Inclusions
Decking
EKO Deck composite range available in various colours, with the option to upgrade to timber decking.
Insulation
Our Insulation inclusions provide effective thermal efficiency throughout the building. We install R2.0 insulation in external walls, Anticon R1.8 blanket under the roofing, and R3.5 insulation in the roof space for superior climate control. Please note, insulation may need to be upgraded based on the results of the energy report to ensure optimal performance.
Internal Floor Coverings
Our Floor Coverings includes hybrid floorboards for a modern look and vinyl flooring in wet areas for water resistance.
Electrical
LED downlights installed throughout and Clipsal Iconic Range installed for a contemporary look.
Foundations and Footings
Foundations / Footings include versatile solutions tailored to site conditions and project requirements. Options feature concrete piers with adjustable steel stumps for durability, easy levelling, and long-term stability. These systems are designed for reliable support across various soil types and building designs.
Timber frame Construction
Timber Frame Construction features durable and treated materials for structural integrity. Walls are constructed using MGP10 90/45 H2 treated pine for strength and termite resistance. The roof is built with MGP10 H2 treated pine or LVL timber, ensuring long-lasting and reliable performance.
Windows and Doors
Windows & Doors include aluminium single-glazed sliding doors and awning windows for a sleek, modern finish. Flyscreens with fibreglass mesh are fitted to all openable doors and windows for added convenience. A double-glazed upgrade is available for enhanced energy efficiency and noise reduction.

Our Cladding inclusions offer a wide variety of high-quality, durable options to suit any project. We provide James Hardie Axon cladding for a sleek, modern appearance, and the WeatherTex range of claddings for environmentally friendly, resilient solutions. Choose Colourbond corrugated cladding for a weatherproof, long-lasting exterior, or Colourbond nail strip metal cladding for a contemporary, streamlined design. Additionally, we offer a range of timber claddings, adding warmth and texture to enhance your building's aesthetic. All materials are selected for their durability, performance, and style.
Internal Linings and Finishes
Our Internal Linings and Finishes inclusions feature high-quality materials for a polished finish. 10mm plasterboard is installed throughout, with 10mm WR board used in wet areas for moisture resistance. We provide square set cornices for a modern, clean look. Flush panel cavity and hinged doors offer sleek, functional designs. 67mm x 15mm MDF skirting and architraves are installed throughout to complete the interior aesthetic with a stylish and durable touch.
Appliances
ABI sink and tapware and Blaupunkt appliances as standard, with upgrade options available.
Composite decking
Composite decking is offered in a variety of finishes and colour options available.
Subfloor
Subfloor systems include high-performance solutions for strength, insulation, and durability. The thermally broken and bulk insulated subfloor structure enhances energy efficiency and comfort. Structural-grade green tongue particleboard sheet flooring provides a robust, reliable, and easy-to-install base for your project.
Roofing / Gutter / Flashings
Roofing / Gutter / Flashings include premium materials for durability and aesthetic appeal. Colourbond Sureclad roofing provides a weather-resistant and stylish finish. Complementing this are Colourbond gutters and flashings, ensuring seamless water management and a cohesive design.
Construction compliance permit included
Construction Compliance includes all necessary steps to meet regulatory and safety standards. This covers site surveys, soil testing, and energy rating reports to ensure planning accuracy. It also includes construction drawings, engineering certifications, and document lodgement for approvals. Services extend to managing council permits, ensuring OH&S compliance, and providing builder’s warranty insurance for complete project assurance.
